Support Workers

Overview

The Support Worker will provide day-to-day care and support to children and families at SGlendale Early Learning & Education, fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children's daily routines including learning, play, and rest.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Assist educators in delivering age-appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Observe and report on children's development and wellbeing.
• Support children with additional needs in line with individual care plans.
• Work collaboratively with the wider care and education team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a care or education setting.
• Patient, caring, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Understanding of child safety and wellbeing practices.
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred).
