Overview
The Support Worker will provide day-to-day care and support to children and families at SGlendale Early Learning & Education, fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children's daily routines including learning, play, and rest.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Assist educators in delivering age-appropriate learning activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Observe and report on children's development and wellbeing.
- Support children with additional needs in line with individual care plans.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care and education team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a care or education setting.
- Patient, caring, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Understanding of child safety and wellbeing practices.
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred).
